E-Series G2 LCD Performance

Badger Meter's E-Series G2 Ultrasonic meter is robustly designed for long-term performance in a weatherproof, UV-resistant, fully submersible housing. The meter lid protects the LCD and registration face from dirt and build up over time. The registration display is activated when the lid is opened, and the optical communication port detects light. This IR port can be used to toggle the LCD display by holding your finger over the sensor briefly and removing it. This allows the user to manually toggle between the varying display screens. The meter’s LCD display is set to "sleep" after approximately eight seconds so that battery life is not affected. The IR port can also be used for meter programming or reading out meter data with the Product Configuration Utility.
